Security Service Federal Credit Union
Data Center and Corporate Relocation
San Antonio, Texas

Working directly for SSFCU, JanCom provided design services to include the review and detailed layout of the Data Center and Command Console. Due to the very dynamic nature of the Data Center, this service was intentionally provided very late in the building design and construction process requiring a very high level of interface and coordination with the design team, construction team, and numerous system vendors. JanCom also provided project management services for the entire corporate relocation which included technology elements, as well as managing the efforts of a move consultant and the subsequent relocation of all SSFCU assets. The relocation process included planning of dual operating environments for the data center as well as for the 24 hour per day, 365 day per year Member Call Center. The result of this planning effort were no unplanned outages for the data center and no outages for the call center. Many thanks and compliments go to the technical staff and management of Security Service Federal Credit Union - despite the additional projects and planning that occurred to facilitate the relocation - SSCFU's Member Call Center was recognized as Call Center of the Year by the Professional Teleservice Management Association.
